Job summary

Amazon's Worldwide Operations Security unit seeks a SLP Expert to safeguard assets across a wide geography. You will perform regular security audits, investigate policy violations and incidents, and monitor data to identify vulnerabilities.

Your role includes coordinating with external security providers and influencing risk mitigation strategies across multiple teams. You will support 24/7 operations, engage in incident response planning, and participate in budgetary planning for security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years in security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement.
• Experience with metric-based strategies and continuous improvement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and define mitigating actions while ensuring legal and ethical compliance.
• Monitor systems and tools to report on data-driven site opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and incidents.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as security and crisis management expert, informing site leadership on key issues and strategies.
• Collaborate with internal customers to evaluate security needs, incident response planning, and vendor management.
• Domestic travel up to 50% as applicable.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds; work across 12-hour shifts; support 24/7 operations including nights and holidays.
