Job summary

Virgin Hotels Nashville is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for Special Events. Starting pay is $21.50+ per hour. You will monitor entrances, patrol, and ensure guest and teammate safety while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires leading a team, coordinating with managers, responding to emergencies, and maintaining detailed incident reports. You should be able to work long shifts, communicate clearly in English, and uphold the hotel's security procedures.

Qualifications

• Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the USA.
• Minimum of 2 years of Loss Prevention experience.
• Previous experience in hospitality preferred.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management/co-workers, both in person and on the telephone.
• Proficient computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of accidents, thefts, property loss, unlawful activities and complete incident reports.
• Patrol hotel interior and perimeter to observe safety and security risks.
• Direct response to emergencies including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life.
• Serve as liaison with federal, state and local law enforcement.
• Oversee administration and accuracy of all required reports and documentation.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Coordinate personnel for Conference and Banqueting functions.
• Patrol boundary areas, bedrooms, offices, storage areas, public areas and function rooms.
• Ensure tours for fire prevention and safe means of escape.
