Job summary

The successful candidate will monitor entrances, patrol the property, respond to incidents, and coordinate with hotel management and local authorities as needed. Prior loss prevention experience and fluency in English are preferred.

Qualifications

• Background must-have: Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the USA.
• Minimum of 2 years of Loss Prevention experience.
• Previous experience in hospitality preferred.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Help lead investigations of incidents and complete reports.
• Patrol interior and perimeter areas to identify safety and security risks.
• Direct response to emergencies including fires or medical incidents.
• Serve as liaison with law enforcement at various levels.
• Oversee administration and accuracy of required reports and documentation.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate additional personnel for conferences and banqueting events.
• Patrol all guest rooms, offices, storage, public areas, and function rooms.
• Ensure tours are conducted for fire safety and escape routes.
• Liaise with department heads to communicate security responsibilities.
• Plan, deliver, and facilitate regular staff security awareness training.
• Be conversant with company terrorist procedures and hotel Fire/Emergency procedures.
• Responsible for key control across departments and access points.
• Monitor and control staff entrances including main entrance, parking, elevators, etc.
• Check goods received and distribute as needed.
• Operate, check and monitor the hotel surveillance system.
