Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for Event Security in Nashville, TN on a part-time basis. Earn $17/hr starting with flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. Weekly pay and opportunities for training are available; candidates must have an active TN Guard Card or be willing to obtain one.

Guard Card training is provided during hiring. Responsibilities include bag checks, access control, and enforcing policies to ensure guest safety while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test required.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct entry, verify tickets and badges, and manage venue flow.
• Screen guests with bags, wand, or metal detector and verify IDs.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring security at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd issues and escort disruptive guests when needed.
• Follow policies/regulations for different venues and events.
• Provide directions and helpful information to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure a positive arrival experience at facility entrances and concourses.
