Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is seeking part-time Event Security staff in Nashville, TN. Earn $17/hr starting with flexible evening and weekend shifts, weekly pay, and opportunities for training and growth.

Candidates must have an active Tennessee Guard Card or be willing to obtain one; training is provided during the hiring process. Job duties include checking bags, enforcing access control, and maintaining safety for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control venue entry, verify tickets, wristbands and badges as needed.
• Screen guests at entry using bags, wand/metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests and assets by monitoring for security breaches.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and provide escorts when needed.
• Follow policies and procedures of various venues and events.
