Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is seeking Event Security personnel in Nashville, TN for part-time roles starting at $17/hr. Flexible evening and weekend shifts, weekly pay, and opportunities to support safety at venues.

Candidates must have an active TN Guard Card or be willing to obtain one; training provided during the hiring process. The role involves bag checks, access control, and enforcing venue policies to ensure guest safety and a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control access by directing entry, scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges.
• Screen guests at entry via bag searches, metal detector or wand, ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff and assets by monitoring security at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand policies and regulations of venues, facilities and events.
• Provide a positive experience for guests at facility entrances and concourses.
• Offer directions and assistance to enhance guest enjoyment.
