Job summary

Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer peace of mind.

In this on-site role you will perform panel installations, conduct sales consultations, diagnose issues, test systems, educate customers, and complete installation paperwork, all while staying current with security technology and industry standards.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain or possess an alarm agent permit where applicable and according to laws.
Valid driver’s license with driving history meeting company standards.

Responsibilities

Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, and cameras.
Perform sales consultations to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure proper function.
Test installed systems and adjust or repair as needed.
Educate customers on use and operation of alarms and automation.
Complete installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records.
