Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems. You will ensure proper functioning and deliver peace of mind to customers.

The role combines hands-on installation with sales consults, diagnosing issues, testing systems, and documenting work. We offer weekly pay, paid training, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain or possess basic tools for the job duties.
• Proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security alarm systems, including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers professionally and address questions.

Responsibilities

• Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
• Engage in sales consultations with customers to understand needs and recommend security solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to the customer’s security alarm systems and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing of installed systems to ensure proper function and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Educate customers on proper use and functionality of their security systems.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records.
• Stay updated on security alarm systems, emerging technologies, and industry standards.
