Job summary

Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems. You will conduct on-site installations, perform testing, and educate customers on system operation to ensure peace of mind and protection.

The role combines hands-on installation with sales consultations, requiring strong customer service and technical problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer interactions.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Must be able to obtain or possess basic tools needed for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Install security alarm systems: control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
• Conduct sales consultations to assess customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper function of alarm systems.
• Test installed systems and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Educate customers on system usage for confidence and proper operation.
• Complete installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records.
• Keep up to date with new security technologies and industry standards.
