Job summary

Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to join our team. You will install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems to ensure reliable protection for customers.

Responsibilities include hands-on installation of control panels, sensors, cameras and related equipment; conducting tests; advising customers on system use; and completing installation reports and tickets with accurate records.

Qualifications

Experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting residential alarm systems.
Ability to explain system operation to customers clearly.
Ability to document installations and service tickets.

Responsibilities

Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
Engage in sales consultations with customers to understand needs and recommend solutions.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure proper function.
Conduct thorough testing of installed systems to ensure components work correctly.
Educate customers on proper use and operation of their systems.
Complete installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records.
Stay updated on knowledge of security systems and industry standards.
