Job summary

Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems. You will ensure proper functioning and performance while delivering peace of mind to customers.

You will engage in sales consultations, perform thorough testing, educate customers, and maintain accurate installation documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain or possess basic tools for the job duties.
• Proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security alarm systems including panels, sensors, cameras.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for professional customer interaction.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
• Engage in sales consultations with customers to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to security alarm systems and implement solutions.
• Test installed systems to ensure proper function and make adjustments as needed.
• Educate customers on proper use and functionality of their systems.
• Complete installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records with accuracy.
• Stay updated on security technologies and industry standards in a fast-paced environment.
