Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Full Time Unarmed Security Guard in Charlotte, NC to protect a financial-institution site, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to employees and visitors. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization as required, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or potential security-related issues.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience or an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
