As a Security Guard Full Time Armed Patrol Response in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence while interacting with employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed by site protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and other security-related events in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Certified Protection Officer certification.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
