Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a financial institution, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site-specific protocols for a financial services location.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and unusual observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
