Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Systems Monitor in Charlotte, NC. You will serve clients, deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment while delivering professional customer service.

In this role you perform routine patrols, respond to alarms and incidents, verify credentials, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and responders.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Alarm panels experience preferred.
• Access control and badge systems experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders, escalating security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Systems Monitor in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
