As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Risk Prevention in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to financial institution clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and notifying site leadership when required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking facilities, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
