This breadth role crosses Identity, Cryptography, Product Identity, AI Security, Cloud, and Asset Management, requiring collaboration with many engineering teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• B.S. Computer Science or related field.
• Deep technical expertise across multiple security domains and credibility in unfamiliar ones.
• Experience driving large cross-company engineering initiatives.
• Experience managing security risk and balancing security vs. friction in a large org.
• Ability to communicate and influence across functions to drive solutions.
• Ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments balancing tech design with business processes.
• Hands-on engineering experience and leadership across Security Eng. and Software Eng. teams.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for security solutions and platforms shared across the company.
• Identify highest-risk items company-wide and lead threat modeling and solution development.
• Define how AI agents are identified, authorized, and audited across Meta's infrastructure.
• Navigate security vs friction/cost tradeoffs to keep the company moving securely.
• Drive solution design, including architecture, and lead implementation as needed.
• Build partnerships across security, infra, and legal to translate requirements into tradeoffs.
• Present credible tradeoffs to senior leadership (CTO, CISO) to drive decisions.
