Meta is seeking a Security Engineer Lead within Security Foundations to scope, design, and champion security solutions across domains. You will set technical direction, drive threat models, and oversee implementation across Identity, Cryptography, Product Identity, AI Security, Cloud Security, and Asset Management.

The role requires deep multi-domain security expertise, strong cross-functional influence, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable security trade-offs.

Qualifikationen

• Deep technical expertise in at least one domain and ability to quickly credibly span unfamiliar ones.
• Significant experience driving large cross-company engineering initiatives.
• Experience managing security risk and balancing security with friction in a large organization.
• Ability to communicate and influence across functions to drive solutions.
• Ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments and balance technical design with business processes.

Aufgaben

• Set technical direction for security solutions and platforms shared across the company, coordinating with Security Engineering, Security Analysts, and Software Engineering teams.
• Identify highest-risk items company-wide and lead development of threat models and solutions.
• Define how AI agents are identified, authorized, and audited across Meta's infrastructure.
• Balance security and friction/cost to enable rapid, secure progress.
• Drive solution design including technical architecture and lead implementation when needed.
• Build partnerships across security, infrastructure, corporate engineering, and legal to translate requirements into tradeoffs.
• Present tradeoffs credibly to senior leadership (VPs/CTO/CISO) to drive decisions.
