Qualifications

• Substantial experience in antiterrorism, force protection, physical security, law enforcement, installation security, emergency management, or related DoD mission areas.
• Experience conducting or supporting threat, vulnerability, risk, or security assessments.
• Knowledge of DoD security policy, compliance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience delivering training, briefings, inspections, or program reviews is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leaders, operational staff, and multiple government organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and program support for antiterrorism and force-protection policies and readiness initiatives.
• Review installation antiterrorism plans and related materials for completeness, consistency, and compliance.
• Monitor program compliance, identify deficiencies and trends, and prepare written findings for government review.
• Support physical security and force-protection requirements, vulnerability assessments, staff visits, and follow-up actions.
• Support antiterrorism training activities and maintain related training materials and documentation.
• Coordinate with ANG, USAF, MAJCOM, and other government stakeholders; prepare reports, briefings, AARs, and recommendations.

Employment Type: Full-time

Primary Work Location: ANGRC, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

Work Schedule: 0800-1600, Monday through Friday, excluding recognized U.S. Federal holidays and Government-directed closures.

Telework / Remote Status: Onsite availability at ANGRC is required to support threat-working-group coordination and command-post information flow. Situational telework may be authorized by the Government when appropriate.

Position Summary

TACFI Consulting is seeking a Senior Antiterrorism / Force Protection Analyst to support Air National Guard Security Forces antiterrorism, physical security, mission assurance, compliance, training, assessment, and readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and program support for antiterrorism and force-protection policies, plans, and readiness initiatives.
• Review installation antiterrorism plans and related program materials for completeness, consistency, and compliance.
• Monitor program compliance, identify deficiencies and trends, and prepare recurring written findings for Government review.
• Support physical security and force-protection requirements, vulnerability assessments, staff assistance visits, and follow-up actions.
• Support antiterrorism training activities and maintain associated training materials and documentation.
• Coordinate with Air National Guard, Air Force, major command, and other Government stakeholders and prepare reports, briefings, AARs, and recommendations.

Desired Qualifications

• Substantial experience in antiterrorism, force protection, physical security, law enforcement, installation security, emergency management, or a closely related DoD mission area.
• Experience conducting or supporting threat, vulnerability, risk, or security assessments.
• Knowledge of DoD security policy, compliance, reporting, and stakeholder-coordination environments.
• Experience delivering training, briefings, inspections, or program reviews is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leaders, operational staffs, and multiple Government organizations.

Security and Access

Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain the clearance and Government access required for assigned duties. An active DoD Secret clearance or higher is strongly preferred.

Travel

Travel may be required to Air National Guard, U.S. Air Force, or other approved locations when authorized in support of the mission.
