Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and handle small projects. The role emphasizes growth within a collaborative culture and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

You will diagnose issues, repair systems, and perform routine maintenance on fire alarm and electronic security systems while collaborating with teammates and customers to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Solid understanding of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and identify solutions.
• Must be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and after-hours service calls and maintenance visits.
• Diagnose, repair, replace defective parts, and debug systems.
• Install projects as needed and provide detailed service reports for invoicing.
• Coordinate with team members and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Travel locally to job sites; overtime may be required.
