Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Security Service Technician to join our team. You will respond to service calls, perform maintenance, troubleshoot and repair security systems, and install small projects while delivering world-class service.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience with access control and fire/electronic security systems, plus a valid license and ability to travel locally. Join a culture focused on growth and safety.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Experience with fire alarm or electronic security systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls, scheduled maintenance, and after-hours emergencies.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts.
• Install projects and perform system upgrades as needed.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
