Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Field Supervisor in San Diego to oversee on-site security professionals and support remote service delivery. The role requires CA guard card, a high school diploma, and at least three years of protective service experience.

You will supervise posts, coordinate staffing, and ensure policy compliance. You will train staff, assist with scheduling, and handle incidents and reporting with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active CA guard card required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Valid CA Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, clean record.
• Minimum of three years of professional protective service experience.
• Ability to write clear, legible reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels, including clients.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned post locations regularly to monitor performance and ensure staffing, policy compliance, and site standards.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new staff and for changes to post orders or procedures.
• Respond to call-offs and assist scheduling to cover shifts as needed.
• Identify personnel issues and report to Operations Manager or HR, possibly assisting with investigations.
• Administer disciplinary actions only as directed by management and with proper authorization.
• Distribute information to posts and obtain acknowledgements or documents as required.
• Respond to client or site emergencies with appropriate communications to leadership.
