Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Senior Superintendent for the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to lead construction projects from design through commissioning. You will manage safety, scheduling, and coordination with GC, owner, and trades to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will travel up to 50% and oversee personnel, materials, and equipment, while ensuring compliance with permits and project standards. A strong background in security systems and CPM scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience in security construction projects.
• 7+ years in installation, integration and testing of electronic security projects valued at over $500k.
• Experience managing security projects as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Project Foreman.
• Experience installing conduit and wiring systems; head end programming and testing of access control and video systems.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage schedules, safety, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are on time and within budget with high safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, site safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and manage 12+ week look-ahead schedules and 4-week forecasts.
• Maintain project documentation: Change Orders, RFIs, Daily Reports, and QA/QC records.
• Lead safety meetings, track incidents, and ensure proper permit and inspection filings.
