Rio Las Vegas is seeking a Security Dispatcher to monitor, coordinate, and support security operations across the property. You will serve as the central point of communication for security incidents, ensuring prompt response and thorough documentation.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple information streams, CCTV footage, radios, and dispatch logs while protecting guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coordinate, and support security operations.
• Serve as the central point of communication for security incidents.
• Respond to calls for service and gather information for incident reports.
• Follow brand standards for guest service and safety.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of security incidents.
• Utilize CCTV to review footage and preserve evidence.
• Receive incoming security calls via radio, phone, or in person.
• Liaise between Security and other departments; dispatch staff as needed.
• Prioritize and track security calls in the dispatch system.
• Monitor security staff assignments and life safety systems; dispatch officers as required.
• Notify EMS or local law enforcement as directed by management.
• Know property hazards and applicable laws during operations.
• Provide information about facilities and events to guests and staff.
• Maintain access to keys for secured areas as needed.
• Comply with company code of conduct and department policies.
