Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Security Dispatcher in Las Vegas to act as the central communication hub for the Security Department. You will monitor multi-line communications, coordinate with officers, and support emergencies with precise, timely decisions.

The role requires strong knowledge of policies, rapid response, and collaboration with external agencies. The starting rate is $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (Customer service experience) preferred.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor cameras, access control systems, and alarm panels to identify and respond to potential security threats.
• Coordinate and direct security officers to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Maintain continuous coordination with the Global Security Operations Center.
• Operate radios and telephones to relay critical information between security teams, management and other departments.
• Maintain logs of communications, incidents and activities in real time for reporting and follow-up.
• Follow emergency protocols and coordinate with local authorities.
• Liaise with law enforcement and EMS as needed.
• Own dispatch calls for service and assist in investigations by locating video footage.
