Job summary

STR's Mission Applications Group in the Analytics and Command & Control Division seeks a Mission Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop, and deploy software for DoD mission objectives in high-security environments. You will lead engineering teams, manage customer relationships, and ensure quality, reliability, and performance.

You will work on prototype capabilities, frontend features, system integration, and deployment at customer sites, with travel to integration sites.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software for DoD or IC missions.
• Strong front-end and back-end development skills for complex, high-security environments.
• Ability to manage customer relationships while leading engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build Prototype Capabilities: break down use cases and MVPs to evolve a solution.
• Develop and Enhance Features: create fast, responsive frontend solutions for complex use cases.
• System Integration: lead cross-functional teams to deploy cohesive systems.
• Customer Collaboration: work with end-users and customers to translate requirements into features.
• Deployment and Field Testing: travel to integration sites to deploy and test in secure environments; typical travel ~1 week per month.
