Job summary

STR is seeking a Mission Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop, and deploy software for DoD/IC missions in high-security environments. You will lead engineering teams, manage customer relationships, and ensure high reliability and performance of mission-critical systems.

You bring expertise in React, TypeScript, and Python, with 7+ years in complex software, and an Active Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Expect occasional travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance with Top Secret/ SCI eligibility.
• BS in Computer Science or related technical field with at least 7 years of experience.
• Experience deploying software for DoD or IC missions.
• Strong ability to lead teams and manage customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build prototype capabilities by breaking down use cases and delivering an MVP.
• Develop and enhance frontend features for high performance and UX.
• Lead system integration across cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with customers to translate requirements into features.
• Deploy and field test software at integration sites, with travel up to one week per month.
