Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager in West Palm Beach to support the Account Manager in supervising security operations and staff. You will participate in a week-long onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools and guidance.

This role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and effective communication across security professionals, shift supervisors, and client contacts, with on-call availability and a focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional-level experience; security industry, law enforcement or military preferred.
• Valid state Guard License; background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test; maintain active license while on duty.
• Valid Driver's License; clean driving record; ability to operate a vehicle.
• Energetic and proactive; strong customer service orientation; ability to de-escalate.
• Professional, articulate; able to use independent judgment.
• Ability to train and coach others; enforce post orders and company policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with all levels.
• Available to work outside normal shift; on-call 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of all aspects of executing the security contract; assign tasks to Security Professionals.
• Supervise shift supervisors and Security Professionals; motivate, coach and train; evaluate performance.
• Maintain Post Order manual and training information; keep post organized.
• Assist Account Manager in interviewing and training new employees; conduct on-the-job training.
• Oversee reports, logs, and pass downs; distribute information to Security Professionals.
• Manage sub-units such as fire control room, command center, loading docks; generate work orders.
• Respond to incidents; ensure proper reports and notifications.
• Identify personnel problems; report to Account Manager; may write reports or assist investigations.
• Recommend counseling or disciplinary actions; may execute with approvals.
• Respond to client/site emergencies; maintain positive client relationships.
• May perform Security Professional duties up to 50% of time.
