Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager in North Charleston, SC. You will assist the Account Manager with supervisory, training and operations for the security contract at the site, including coordinating tasks, training staff, and maintaining post orders.

The role offers a management onboarding program and requires strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. A valid guard license and driving eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) – five (5) years of professional-level experience.
• Valid state Guard License or in process to obtain one.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test required pre-employment.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least one year driving experience and clean record.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to de-escalate situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Manager with coordinating all aspects of the security contract at the site.
• Supervise shift supervisors or Security Professionals; motivate, coach and train as needed.
• Maintain Post Order manuals and post training information; ensure post is clean and organized.
• Assist with interviewing and onboarding; conduct on-the-job training with shifts.
• Oversee reports, logs, and communications within the Security Department.
• Manage sub-units such as fire control room or loading docks as applicable.
• Respond to incidents; ensure proper reporting and notification.
• Identify personnel issues and coordinate with Account Manager or HR for action.
• Provide counseling/disciplinary recommendations under guidance; execute as directed.
• Respond to client/site emergencies and maintain positive client relationships.
• May perform Security Professional duties up to 50% of time when needed.
