Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Account Manager in Downtown Chicago to lead daily security operations, guide a team of officers and supervisors, and deliver exceptional service for commercial real estate properties.

You will schedule staff using AI-assisted tools, develop client relationships, manage incidents, and ensure compliance and safety standards while controlling costs and payroll.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams.
• Ability to lead, develop, and retain a dynamic team while building client relationships.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Strong communication skills with clients and employees; multitask and drive operational excellence.
• Financial acumen to manage staffing and inventory costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling using AI-powered technology to meet client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime.
• Lead and develop security teams including payroll, performance, and employee relations.
• Enhance client relationships as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service.
• Handle security incidents and emergencies professionally, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Oversee compliance and security operational excellence; manage inventory (uniforms, equipment, and other supplies).
