Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Manager with supervisory, training and operational duties at the assigned post. A week-long onboarding course is provided to help you apply best practices and tools.

You will supervise Security Professionals, maintain post orders, interview and train new staff, and manage incident reporting. This role requires security experience, a valid Guard License and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional security experience required.
• Valid state Guard License and background check clearance; maintain license.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and insurance as required.
• Energetic, proactive and customer-service oriented.
• Professional with good judgment and discretion.
• Ability to train and coach others; enforce post orders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work outside normal shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the security contract under the Account Manager.
• Supervise and motivate Security Professionals; evaluate performance.
• Maintain Post Order manuals and training information.
• Conduct interviews and train new employees; orient to the post.
• Oversee reports, logs and pass-downs for the Security Department.
• Manage sub-units like fire control room and loading docks as applicable.
• Respond to incidents; ensure proper reporting and notification.
• Address personnel issues and assist with investigations.
• Occasionally perform Security Professional duties up to 50% of time.
