Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah seeks a Supplier Manufacturing Engineering Manager 2 to lead a team of S.MEs for the Sentinel program. You will interface with manufacturing, customers, and major suppliers to ensure timely SOW execution and production readiness.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance and strong program-management skills. The position offers a 9/80 schedule, relocation assistance may be available, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field with 8+ years of related experience, or a Master’s with 6+ years.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, with ability to obtain SAP approval.
• Demonstrated management experience leading a technical and complex program effort.
• Experience partnering with Global Supply Chain / Procurement on supplier selection and delivery management.
• Experience supporting Make vs Buy analysis in collaboration with Global Supply Chain and Engineering.
• Experience participating in cross-functional component-level design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BU Manufacturing Leads to assess SOW requirements for Sentinel program execution.
• Develop and coordinate resource plans, create Integrated Master Schedules, and track status metrics; guide the ME team.
• Coordinate with the ME Team to apply Digital Engineering processes for production readiness.
• Develop team members for growth in scope and job satisfaction.
• Establish milestones, monitor plans, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assess team member performance against goals.
• Demonstrate organizational and interpersonal skills with customers, NGC, suppliers, and leadership.
• Lead the team to perform at cost and on schedule while meeting all requirements.
