Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supplier Management Team (SMT) Principal Systems Engineer for the Sentinel Program in Roy, UT. The role focuses on leading technical activities, applying system requirements, and coordinating across teams to meet customer needs.

Candidates must hold a STEM degree with substantial related experience and an active DoD Secret clearance, with potential for Top Secret. MBSE and DOORS/Cameo experience are highly valued in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM with 5+ years related experience (3+ years with a master).
• Active DoD Secret clearance required, ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) eligibility.
• At least 3 years verifying requirements and associated tools.
• At least 2 years MBSE experience with Cameo.
• 3+ years in review/approval of test plans, procedures and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical tag ups and support testing, reviews and approvals of test reports and procedures.
• Coordinate with SMT teams and Advanced Equipment SMT Lead to align with customer requirements.
• Apply system requirements in mechanical, electrical and integrated domains.
• Conduct planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost and risk analyses.
• Maintain design documentation and configuration management.
• Create technical reports and present findings to boards and customers.
• Coordinate requirements with systems engineers, specialty teams and customers.
• Verify designs via modeling, simulation, test data processing and performance analyses.
• Support all life cycle phases from concept to disposal.
• Review customer deliverables and conduct variances with technical direction.
