Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a PC Network Support Technician to support information system lifecycle activities at our Palmdale, CA location. The role requires on-site work, a Secret security clearance, and hands-on IT support experience.

Responsibilities include incident ticketing, workstation relocations, diagnostics, Active Directory management, and asset tracking. The position offers opportunities to work on classified projects with a strong security-focused culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience or an Associate’s degree with 0 years of experience.
• Must have Security+ certification or greater.
• Current DoD Secret level security clearance (minimum).
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of employment.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and remote deployment methods.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage tickets for all support incidents with timely updates and documentation.
• Relocate workstations and related equipment with minimal disruption.
• Provide basic diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware/software/network/telecom systems.
• Use Active Directory to manage user/computer accounts and password resets.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and assist with security paperwork as required.
• Support on-site IT operations and participate in installations and special projects.
• Occasionally work away from the desk to assist users and move equipment.
