Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Classified Solutions team seeks experienced PC Network Support to join its Palmdale, CA second-shift group, Monday through Thursday, 1:00 PM–11:00 PM on-site. The role focuses on PC/network support, security compliance, and customer service in a highly classified environment.

Candidates must have a DOD Secret clearance (eligible for Top Secret) and a Security+ or equivalent certification; prior ITIL/ITSM familiarity is valued and remote work is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma with 2 years of relevant experience is required
• Must have a DOD 8140 security certification (examples: Security+ CE or greater)
• Current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret clearance in order to be considered
• Ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment
• Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for computers and associated networks.
• Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs of personal computers, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors. Connects PCs and terminals to data networks.
• Instructs users in the use of PCs and networks; investigates needs and makes recommendations; maintains trouble logs.
• Completes paperwork to satisfy Security requirements; follows all Security regulations; remediates data spillage incidents.
• Coordinates with users, service desk, server admins, network engineers, and IT management.
• Reviews the trouble ticket queue and resolves tickets within SLAs; escalates when needed.
• Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction and assists with new installations and projects.
