Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to support the Sentinel Program in Roy, Utah. This dual-hatted role combines about 80% direct technical contribution with 20% functional leadership for a mechanical engineering homeroom.

Responsibilities include designing, selecting, integrating, and releasing hardware for wing operations and physical security, maturing the hardware baseline with stakeholders, and ensuring quality documentation in CPLM tools like Siemens Teamcenter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8 years related experience or Master’s with 6 years.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance; SAP within scope as needed.
• Experience with PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter.
• Translate requirements into mechanical design solutions.
• Technical leadership experience.
• Experience with ASME Y14.5 and Y14.24.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of hardware solutions for Sentinel program.
• Lead mechanical engineering staff in career development and engagement.
• Design, select, integrate, and release wing ops and physical security hardware.
• Mature hardware baseline with cross-functional stakeholders and ensure proper documentation in CPLM tools.
