Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior/Principal Engineer to join the Sentinel Program's Command Systems Hardware Design Integration team in Utah. You will help design hardware systems, create 3D models, and develop artifacts for design reviews in a multi-disciplinary environment.

The role requires a Secret clearance or ability to obtain one, with experience in Siemens NX and CPLM. You will engage with Systems, Software, Design, Compliance, and Hardware teams to ensure successful program

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required with an active Secret level clearance or capable of being investigated for one.
• Experience with CAD modeling using Siemens NX or equivalent tools.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and scheduling tools.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design hardware systems and components per requirements and architecture diagrams.
• Create 3D models and product data packages using CPLM and NX.
• Assist in trade studies and analyses to support design decisions.
• Prepare design artifacts and participate in critical design reviews.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Design, Compliance, and Hardware teams.
