Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Mechanical Engineer or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel (GBSD) program within the SDS Division. The role will work on multi-disciplinary teams to design hardware systems and execute trade studies and design artifacts.

You will apply Siemens NX CAD, Teamcenter PLM, and ASME processes, contribute to design reviews, and help ensure program success while abiding by security clearances and government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from an accredited university with 2 years related experience; or a master’s with 1 year (Principal: 5 yrs with bachelor’s or 3 yrs with master).
• US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance; SAP approval within time frame.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Siemens NX; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and scheduling tools.

Responsabilités

• Join a team of engineers to design hardware systems and components.
• Apply ASME processes to identify, design, and procure hardware.
• Support design of integrated assemblies from requirements and architecture diagrams.
• Create design artifacts and models using NX and PLM tools; document and release artifacts.
• Operate in a multi-disciplinary environment with Systems, Software, Design, Compliance, and Hardware engineers.
