The role collaborates with multiple teams to deliver on-time design solutions and integrates with item specifications for robust, cost-efficient results.

The position requires a STEM degree with related experience and an active U.S. Secret clearance, with potential relocation support and a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree with related experience; Master’s with less experience acceptable.
• Requires US Citizen with active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Experience with design/fabrication techniques for structural details, assemblies, or installations.
• Experience using PLM/PDM tools and 3-D modeling.

Responsabilités

• Create and implement deployable mechanical mechanisms verified by test/analysis.
• Develop CAD models visualizing design solutions.
• Deliver PDPs on time to meet program objectives.
• Develop Infrastructure Integration PDPs with element teams to avoid disconnects and clashes.
• Identify gaps in design/requirements and propose cost-effective, innovative resolutions.
• Ensure PDPs meet design requirements from item specifications.
