Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced engineer to create and deploy deployable mechanical mechanisms verified through test and analysis. You will develop CAD models and drive PDP processes for program objectives.

Responsibilities include integrating PDPs with element teams, identifying design gaps, and delivering PDPs on time. You will present technical status to leadership and customers, with eligibility for SAP approval and security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of related experience; a Masters with 6 years; or a PhD with 4 years.
• Experience with system integration and test principles.
• Experience preparing and presenting technical status to leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement deployable mechanical mechanisms verified through test/analysis.
• Develop CAD models visualizing design solutions.
• Implement program processes and engineering board approval processes for PDPs.
• Deliver PDPs on time to meet program objectives.
• Integrate PDPs with element teams to eliminate disconnects and design clashes.
• Identify gaps in design/requirements and provide cost-effective resolutions.
• Ensure PDPs meet design requirements from configurations and specs.
