Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform hands-on building of electronic and mechanical assemblies for classified programs. You will work with engineering to produce and rework units, following detailed instructions and using torque tools.

The role requires US citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance before starting. Overtime may be required, and work is conducted at onsite production facilities with strict quality controls.

Qualifications

• H S diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading work instructions, drawings and schematics with limited supervision.
• U.S. citizen with active DoD Secret clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly of electronic and mechanical components in a classified production environment.
• Follow detailed work instructions and photographs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Clock into the production tracking system and coordinate with engineering on tasks and rework.
• Conduct visual inspections and verify torque and fit using appropriate tools.
• Assist with wire routing, connector mating, bracket installation, and sub-assembly integration.
