Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a skilled technician for final assembly of energetic sections, building large-scale missiles at an onsite facility in the United States. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset to deliver critical components to warfighters.

Responsibilities include assembly, modification, and checkout of ordnance systems, tool operation, and adherence to all procedures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; additional vocational/technical education preferred.
• At least two years of relevant assembly/manufacturing/operations experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, modification, and checkout of ordnance weapon systems.
• Operate various computer systems and applications as part of production.
• Handle explosive items safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Operate pneumatic and manual tools.
• Report problems to management and support staff to maintain manufacturing operations.
• Attend required production meetings and complete training.
• Follow all documented processes and work instructions.
