Job summary

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. in the Picatinny Arsenal area is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our product assembly team.

You will assemble, disassemble, inspect and pack electrical and mechanical components, working with engineers to resolve assembly issues. The role requires reading technical drawings, following assembly instructions, maintaining a safe, clean work area, and performing soldering of electronics.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow assembly instructions.
• Ability to sustain repetitive tasks and perform physical work.
• Must be a US citizen and pass drug/alcohol testing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, inspect and pack electrical and mechanical components.
• Fit and assemble components into complete units.
• Confer with engineers to resolve assembly problems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with procedures.
• Solder electronics as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
