Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a Database Architect to join our Virginia Beach team, requiring daily on-site presence and an active Secret clearance. You will support Navy Reserve data initiatives, craft an authoritative data ecosystem, and drive data-driven decision making using VAULTIS principles.

You will develop data pipelines, governance, and automation across enterprise systems, leveraging Python, SQL, and modern analytics tools while aligning with DOTMLPF-P concepts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years with Python, PySpark, GitLab, Databricks and/or Jupyter Notebook.
• 2+ years with JavaScript and SQL.
• 2+ years with Navy Reserve data systems and Advana/Jupyter.
• At least 6 months managing or modifying Alchemy pipeline code.

Responsibilities

• Analyze/implement industry standards for expanding an authoritative Navy Reserve data ecosystem.
• Data management of enterprise data pipelines, architectures, observability, and governance.
• Automate data feeds from multiple systems into a consolidated data environment.
• Perform capability gap analysis and identify vulnerabilities; recommend solutions.
• Compile and implement integration strategies to expand an interoperable data ecosystem across legacy systems.
