Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to support Navy Reserve data systems and enterprise data pipelines in a primarily on-site role at our Virginia Beach office. The role requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance and US citizenship, with ~10% travel.

You will work on data ecosystem expansion, automation of data feeds, and governance to ensure VAULTIS compliance. Strong Python/SQL skills and experience with Navy data platforms are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Python, PySpark, GitLab, Databricks and/or Jupyter Notebook, SFG, and Magic.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with JavaScript and SQL.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Navy Reserve data systems and Advana/Jupyter.
• At least 6 months of experience in managing or modifying Alchemy pipeline code.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, compile, and implement industry standards for expanding and maintaining an authoritative NR data ecosystem.
• Data management of enterprise data pipelines, architectures, observability, and governance.
• Automate data feeds from multiple systems into a consolidated data environment.
• Perform capability gap analysis and identify vulnerabilities and solutions.
• Compile and implement integration strategies to expand interoperable data ecosystems across legacy systems.
