Job summary

Leominster Public Schools seeks a Secondary Mathematics Content Specialist to support district-wide implementation of HQIM in grades 6-12. The role focuses on delivering professional learning, modeling lessons, and leading collaborative teaching teams to improve curriculum and assessment aligned with Massachusetts standards.

Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of the Massachusetts Frameworks for Mathematics, differentiation strategies for multilingual learners and students with disabilities,

Qualifications

• Master degree in the area of Secondary Education.
• Secondary Education Certification in Mathematics (5-8, 5-12, 8-12) with SEI Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with administrative and instructional staff in district-wide initiatives.
• Facilitate Professional Learning Communities.
• Provide professional development training for personnel.
• Keep abreast of new developments in pedagogical practices.
• Model lessons as appropriate.
• Lead school-based data meetings with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Coordinate MTSS tiered intervention systems and programs.
• Support curriculum development and implementation.
• Support the district’s vision and strategic plan.
