Dearborn Public Schools is seeking an experienced Middle School Mathematics Instructional Coach to support teachers and improve student achievement across math. The role focuses on modeling, co-teaching, and delivering data-based math instruction within a collaborative district framework.

The position requires a minimum of three years teaching experience, a master's in math or related field, and demonstrated expertise in math pedagogy, professional development, and leadership.

Qualificações

• Three or more years of successful teaching.
• Minimum of 2 years as a classroom teacher—middle school preferred.
• Master's degree in Math and/or related field with documented math pedagogy training.

Responsabilidades

• Engage in regular coaching partnerships with classroom teachers. Plan, model and co-teach lessons.
• Model and co-teach evidence-based math instruction and assessment techniques with at-risk students.
• Provide leadership and assistance in implementing research-based math practices.
• Collaborate with school administrators and teachers.
• Plan and participate in math-related professional development and curriculum development.
• Serve as a building resource and leader in improving student achievement in math.
• Attend meetings, prepare forms and reports as necessary.
• Assist in analyzing assessment data to monitor progress and improve achievement.
• Perform other Math-related duties including parent meetings as designated.
