Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Coordinator IV Secondary Mathematics to oversee the development and delivery of a rigorous, HQIM-aligned math program for grades 6–12, supporting campuses, teachers, and administrators.

The role emphasizes curriculum design, professional learning, data-informed improvement, and collaboration across the Curriculum and Instruction division to raise student achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education required.
• Master's degree in Education preferred.
• 3 years of middle/high school Mathematics teaching experience with a track record of improving student achievement.
• Experience designing and delivering HQIM-aligned curriculum and professional learning.
• Experience as an instructional coach, department head, or lead teacher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs and adapts HQIM and writes lessons for the core program, driving strong teacher instruction and HQIM fidelity.
• Evaluates and supports adoption and integration of instructional resources into the curriculum.
• Contributes to district-wide professional learning plans based on data trends and initiatives.
• Builds campus capacity to implement HQIM with fidelity and high-quality lesson delivery.
• Coordinates and delivers instructional support, assessment, and professional learning for stakeholders.
• Delivers professional learning aligned to priorities and needs; participates in train-the-trainer structures.
