Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is hiring a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift. You will lead team leads and hourly production staff, ensuring safe operations and achievement of quality and productivity targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in leadership, and 5+ years in manufacturing. Proficiency with MS Office and Lean/Six Sigma is preferred. We offer medical, 401k, paid holidays, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position (team lead, team captain, supervisor, shift lead, etc).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leads and hourly production team members; ensure safe work environment and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive continuous improvement; conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain production schedule, quality and productivity.
• Maintain inventory control for raw materials.
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality, shipping and other departments to meet targets.
• Capture and analyze data on productivity and performance.
• Communicate decisions with data and documentation.
• Ensure timekeeping accuracy in ADP for direct reports.
• Enforce safety rules and company policies.
