Job summary

Dover Food Retail is hiring a Supervisor, Production – Fabrication for the 3rd shift in South Chesterfield, VA. The role leads front-line hourly workers and team leads to hit production targets safely and with top quality, coordinating with supply chain, quality, and shipping.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in manufacturing and at least 3 years in a leadership role. Lean/Six Sigma experience and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years in a leadership position (team lead, supervisor, shift lead).
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leads and hourly production employees; ensure safety, set expectations, coach and train staff.
• Develop and audit daily standard work and production schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement; conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory controls for raw materials and coordinate with supply chain and quality teams.
• Capture production data to analyze productivity and issues impacting cycle times.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and adherence to safety policies.
